My sister was one of a kind  I live in Florida and there will be a knock at the door and I opened up and there she stook.  Patty was a very strong person.  I mean how many women in their fifties decide to go to College and to receive her bachelors....not many. I remember praying at her bed side, praying for help, praying for strength, praying please help Patty.  There just wasn't a doubt that she would recover.  Well the Lord did answer my prayer just not exactly how I wanted. I cry for met The pain of knowing she was plucked from my life.  When I think of how much I learned frm her, the laughs, the cries, the bond. She will NEVER be just someone who  has passed. Death cannot take your memories and we all have many.  May God Bless those she leaves behind.

I remember the first time I met mom when I went to visit her son (Rick) in December 21, 2003.  Me and Rick went to her house and she made us grilled cheese.  It was the best grilled cheese I've ever had since I came here in the US.  Then, when she came to visit us here in CA sometime in 2004, we went to Reno for the weekend.  We enjoyed playing at the casino.  And yes, we also took her to San Francisco and took some pictures.  Then, in September of 2006, she and Aunt Nola came to visit and Rick coming back from Florida.  I picked them up at the airport.  Me and Rick took them to San Francisco again.  We went to the Fisherman's Wharf.  It was a cold windy day!  But that didn't stop us to have fun at the City.  I also remember taking her and Aunt Nola at ThunderValley Casino... although they didn't win, they had fun.  And then, the day came where they had to go back home, we took a few pictures at the office and they are posted on the gallery.  At the airport, we said our good byes... she hugged me and kissed me and whispered "Do me a favor... please take care of my son!"  Those are the last words I heard from her when she was still alive.  These are just few memories of mom that will never be forgotten.
