Life story
July 27, 1941
Born in Ohio Cincinnati on July 27, 1941.
December 20, 2006
Passed away on December 20, 2006 at the age of 65.
January 10, 2007

Patricia's parents William McComas and Dorothy Baxter brought her into the world in 1941 on a Sunday, the 27th.  She had one older sister Bonnie (Sparks) and three younger sisters Shiela, Nola (Cox) and Sylvia (Redmond); and one brother Bill.  They grew up in the projects of English Woods on a hill in Cincinnati.  She told her children stories of borrowing sugar and flower from neighbors to get by after her father died at a very young age of a heart attack, which was suspected of a prescription drug inter-action.  Her mother Dorothy passed in 1983 and is located at Mt Pisgah, KY, near the Crouch residence (past) pass Twin Bridges in KY.

She always missed her mother at the holidays.  Now she is with her, and her father and her sister Shiela who joined the angels a couple of years ago.

Patricia was introduced to Thomas Bonar by her uncle Johnny Crouch and Tom's sister Charlotte who now was her sister-in-law and aunt by marriage.  They married in 1957 on May 18th.  (She would pass to the angels 5 months short of her would be 50th anniversary if Thomas Bonar and her were still married).

On January 31, 1960, she welcomed her first child Rickie, On July 27th, 1961, her 20th birthday she welcomed her first daughter Vickie (Hall), then on January 8, 1963, she welcomed her 2nd daugher Sandy (Russell) and finally on April 30th, 1964, she welcomed her last child, Marie (Morris).

She loved her children very much and it showed in the fact that even today her children are closer than ever.  They all love each other very much and find solace in their loss for the love they have for one another and that of their superior mother.

Patricia never met a stranger.  She was very welcoming to friends, co-workers and many others.  Treating everyone like a family member.

Her daughters brought her 9 grandchildren. Amanda Morris, Gwen Hall, Jonas Russell, Jacob Morris, Matt Hall, Megan Russell, Brittney Morris and Ashely Morris, Natalie Morris.

Her grandchildren brought her 8 great grandchildren:

Amanda Morris Robinson - Faith Morris, Collane Robinson, Alex Robinson

Gwen Hall - Tyler Banks, Logan

Jacob Morris - Conner, Hunter, Turner

She loved all her children very much, VERY MUCH!!!

Patricia worked hard on the farm raising her children.  Cooking meals beyond comparison with bacon, mush, eggs, pancakes, etcs.  She maded the best onion dip which was shared in the evening in front of the television with potato chips.  Her jam cake with caramel icing was extraordinary.

She now is in heaven with the angels.  She was met by her sister Shiela, her mother Dorothy.

She is saddened by all her families grief, but reminds us to rejoice because death is only another beginning of life's journey.  She will always be near us throughtout eternity.  She loves us very deeply.

Patricia and her family appreciated the nearly 150 people that rejoiced in her life at First Church in Camp Ernst, KY, on December 23rd, Saturday, 2006.  Thank you LD and staff.  The memorial was truly appreciated.
